‘Palworld Online’ has been trademarked, but there’s hints of potential AI use

Pocketpair submitted a trademark application for 'Palworld Online' on April 27, 2026, which is currently labeled as 'live' by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). A similar trademark was filed in South Korea on April 24, 2026. The trademark pertains to "recorded computer game programs and recorded game software," and includes "toy design," suggesting potential new merchandise linked to the Palworld Trading Card Game (TCG). It also references "Artificial intelligence as a service (AIAAS) services featuring software using artificial intelligence (AI) for developing computer games." The 1.0 release of Palworld is projected for sometime in 2026, with speculation about the possibility of an MMO format.

League of Legends booster puts out post offering “10k per month.” Riot absolutely cooks them

The videogame community is currently experiencing a divide, but there is a universal disdain for cheaters. Drew Levin, League of Legends’ Director of Product, is actively addressing cheating issues. Recently, he confronted a booster named 'Little Peter,' who advertised boosting services for Challenger players in North America. Levin warned that he would ban anyone involved in such practices. Little Peter responded defiantly but later expressed remorse. Boosting is against Riot's terms of service and can lead to account bans, which may also affect other Riot games.

WWE 2K26 Review – More Money, More Problems

Riftbound director hints at its digital future, says it’s “not a matter of if, but when and how” for the League of Legends TCG

Calamity Angels: Special Delivery Game’s PC Version Launches in 2026

Idea Factory International plans to release the role-playing game Calamity Angels: Special Delivery on PC via Steam in 2026. A closed beta test will run from December 22 to January 16, with applications now open. The official launch is set for February 17 in North America and Europe, with physical and digital versions available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. League of Legends TCG Riftbound is the best thing Riot’s done since Arcane, but I’m not convinced it has MTG’s staying power

Riftbound is a card game set in the League of Legends universe, inspired by traditional trading card games like Magic: The Gathering. Players choose a Champion Legend, a Chosen Champion for buffs, and a Battlefield with unique traits to win by reaching eight points through unit placement and skirmishes called 'Showdowns.' The Proving Grounds set features four decks—Annie, Garen, Lux, and Master Yi—with varying complexity. Decks are designed to reflect the champions' characteristics, such as Lux's burst spells and Garen's tank role. Gameplay can be lengthy, especially with larger player counts, with matches lasting from 30 minutes to nearly two hours. Riftbound Set 1, Origins, is currently sold out online and in most local game stores, with cards available on the second-hand market.
