Minecraft Will Soon Let You Craft Saddles 15 Years After They Were Added To The Game

Minecraft was publicly released in May 2009 and gained popularity with frequent updates. In 2010, saddles were added, allowing players to ride pigs and later horses, but they could not be crafted and had to be found in chests or dungeons. After 15 years, Mojang announced an update that allows players to craft saddles using 3 leather and 1 iron ingot. This change addresses the long-standing frustration of players who could not create saddles despite the game's crafting focus.

Feds say Ashland man had child porn on Telegram Messenger app. What’s next

Brent Vreeland, a 36-year-old resident of Ashland, has agreed to voluntary detention after a federal hearing on April 24, facing charges related to the distribution of child pornography via the Telegram Messenger app. He has been charged with one count of transportation of child pornography following an investigation that began last October. Vreeland was apprehended at his home after arriving at Logan International Airport in Boston from Reykjavik, Iceland. During a secondary screening, security personnel found suspected child pornography on his phone, leading to an alert for federal investigators. The investigation revealed that Vreeland had conversations on Telegram soliciting content involving minors and sent a video featuring a child as young as four years old to another user, with authorities discovering 30 media files depicting children in his direct messages. If convicted, he faces a potential sentence of five to 20 years in federal prison, a 0,000 fine, and lifetime supervised release. He was ordered to be held without bail during his initial hearing.

Google app removing Assistant settings on Android

Microsoft: Windows CLFS zero-day exploited by ransomware gang

Microsoft reported that the RansomEXX ransomware gang has been exploiting a critical zero-day vulnerability in the Windows Common Log File System, identified as CVE-2025-29824, allowing them to gain SYSTEM privileges on targeted systems. This vulnerability stems from a use-after-free flaw and affects organizations in various sectors, including IT and real estate in the US, financial institutions in Venezuela, a Spanish software company, and the retail sector in Saudi Arabia. Microsoft has released security updates for most affected Windows versions but has postponed patches for Windows 10 x64 and 32-bit systems. Customers running Windows 11, version 24H2, are not vulnerable to the exploitation. The RansomEXX group, also known as Storm-2460, uses the PipeMagic backdoor malware to facilitate the exploitation of CVE-2025-29824, alongside ransomware payloads. The group has targeted high-profile organizations, including GIGABYTE, Konica Minolta, the Texas Department of Transportation, Brazil's court system, Montreal's STM public transport system, and government software provider Tyler Technologies.

APT and ransomware attacks continue to plague Vietnam’s IT systems

In 2024, Vietnam experienced over 155,640 ransomware attacks, leading to financial losses in the tens of trillions of VND (hundreds of millions of USD) for organizations. A cybersecurity assessment on March 25 revealed that 60% of Vietnamese businesses lack adequate cybersecurity solutions.
