Established sports franchises lost ground to newcomers on PC in 2025

In 2025, PC gaming has seen a resurgence in sports titles, with notable trends emerging. Football Manager 26 launched with 84,909 CCU and maintains weekend peaks of around 60,000 CCU. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road achieved 52,795 CCU with a user rating of 90 percent. NBA 2K26 peaked at 32,081 CCU, down over 20,000 from its predecessor, while F1 25 peaked at 22,595 CCU. Madden NFL 26 peaked at 6,600 CCU, while Madden NFL 24 remains the most popular entry with 9,526 CCU.

CHARTS: Battlefield 6 pre-orders shoot to No.3 on Steam

Pre-orders for Battlefield 6 became the third highest-grossing item on Steam last week. The game is set to release on October 10th and marks a return to the modern warfare aesthetic seen in Battlefield 3 and 4. Counter-Strike 2 was the highest-grossing title on Steam, followed by Grounded 2 in second place. The Steam Deck dropped to fourth, while PUBG: Battlegrounds fell to fifth. Titan Quest 2 secured sixth place after selling over 300,000 copies since its Early Access launch. Dead by Daylight rose to seventh due to a 60 percent price reduction.
