You can now turn your Android handheld into a Steam Deck, and here’s the proof

Valve has released Steam OS for Arm devices, which has been ported to Android handhelds by developers. The Arm version of Steam OS can run from a microSD card on supported devices like the AYN Odin 2 family and Retroid Pocket 6. The performance of games on Steam OS Arm varies, with some games working well and others not booting up at all. The dream of running GTA V natively on Android just died

The GTA V Android port project has been shut down by parent company Take-Two Interactive with a cease-and-desist letter, ending hopes of a native and optimized version of the game on Android phones. The project aimed to run the game natively on ARM hardware, but relied on leaked source code and violated strict modding policies, leading to its closure on October 3, 2026. The project's source code will not be released publicly to avoid further legal issues. This leaves emulation and cloud streaming as the only options for mobile gamers to play GTA V on their Android phones.

A Windows 10 Update Was Force Triggering Copilot To Run Every Time A File Was Clicked, Leading To Frequent Crashes That Logged The Culprit As Microsoft Edge

Microsoft's Windows 10 update "KB5126256," intended as a licensing preparation package for Extended Security Updates, has caused issues for users, including one Reddit user whose File Explorer crashes when clicking on files due to the automatic activation of the Copilot feature. The crashes were misleadingly attributed to Microsoft Edge, but further investigation revealed they were linked to "mscopilot_proxy.exe" and the module "ShellEh6055x64.dll," associated with the 4t Tray Minimizer application. Users have reported that uninstalling problematic updates can provide temporary relief, while some have chosen to disable updates entirely, despite Windows not offering a complete option to do so.

The Pixel 11 series has a gaming problem, and Google’s new graphics default is to blame

ANGLE is the default OpenGL ES implementation on the Pixel 11 series, introduced in the September 2026 update. It translates calls to Vulkan and is meant to improve compatibility and stability, but it is causing significant microstutter and lower frame rates in games like Genshin Impact, COD Mobile, and Asphalt Legends. The default ANGLE rendering on the Pixel 11 series is resulting in poor gaming performance.
