Finally! Microsoft brings most Copilot+ AI features to AMD, Intel PCs

Microsoft has announced that all Copilot+ PCs, including those with AMD Ryzen AI 300 series and Intel Core Ultra 200V processors, will now have access to AI-driven features, previously limited to Snapdragon devices. Features available include Live Captions, Cocreator, Restyle Image, and Image Creator, though some functionalities, like photo resizing, remain exclusive to Snapdragon-powered PCs. The Voice Access feature is currently limited to Snapdragon devices, with plans for AMD and Intel compatibility later this year. Upcoming features will be available through the March 2025 Windows non-security preview update, following the November 2024 update, and will be rolled out gradually via Windows controlled feature rollout. Users can access updates by navigating to Settings > Windows Update.

Sterling Theater upgrading seating, preparing for ‘Minecraft’ movie pajama party

Renovations at the Sterling Theater are nearing completion, featuring new flooring and improved seating arrangements. Each of the theater's two viewing rooms will have 165 seats, including 20 luxurious recliners, 117 rocker-back lounge chairs, and 28 seats in a designated tabletop area. The renovation included the removal of outdated seating and asbestos abatement. The theater will reopen on April 3 with a premiere of "A Minecraft Movie," followed by screenings of "The Last Supper" and "The Amateur." Rocker-back lounge chairs will be first-come, first-served, while recliners and tabletop seating will incur an upcharge and be assigned upon ticket purchase. Tickets are available at the theater or online.

Minecraft Live 2025: Vibrant Visuals, Flying Happy Ghast, and Everything Announced

Minecraft Live 2025 announced the first game drop of the year, "Spring to Life," launching on March 25, which enhances the Overworld with vibrant biomes and introduces new variants of animals and ambient features. The second game drop will feature the Dried Ghast block, which can be rehydrated to create the Ghastling, a baby ghast that evolves into the Happy Ghast, a flying companion for players. Players can craft a harness for the Happy Ghast, allowing them to soar with up to three friends. A new Locator Bar feature will assist players in finding friends while navigating. A significant visual upgrade called Vibrant Visuals was also announced. Additionally, an in-game live event related to an upcoming Minecraft movie will take place from March 25 to April 7, where players can earn a Yearn cape by completing challenges.

Planet Coaster 2’s spring roadmap splashes down, with ’round-bottomed flumes’ coming in March and buildable restaurants arriving in April

Frontier Developments is enhancing Planet Coaster 2 with several updates since its launch in October. January introduced improved flume simulation for waterslides, and February added customizable video billboards. The next update, scheduled for March 20, will enhance flume construction with increased flexibility, introduce a wider variety of guest and raft movements, enhance visual effects, and incorporate "inflatable deformation" for rafts. Additionally, "round-bottomed flumes" will be added, and Update 3 will feature the Vector, an inverting suspended rollercoaster. April's Update 4 will introduce in-park restaurants and another new ride. Ongoing improvements will focus on performance, stability, and economy management. Further updates are planned for May and beyond.
