Google is working on three new weather widgets for the Google app for Android. The upcoming widgets will offer more weather data, including a smaller space-saving option and two widgets with expanded hourly views. The new widgets include a square 2x2 widget, a day-at-a-glance hourly 4x2 widget, and an expanded 4x3 option with a forecast for the upcoming days. The current weather widgets offer limited information compared to the upcoming ones. The new widgets are currently being tested in the beta version of the app, with no specific release date for all Android devices yet.
