Google is developing a feature to alert users when an app installed on their device has been removed from the Play Store. Currently, users do not receive notifications about apps that have been delisted for non-security reasons. Recent findings from an APK teardown of the Google Play Store v51.4.19 indicate that users may soon receive notifications regarding inactive or delisted apps, focusing on keeping them informed about updates. This update aims to help users declutter their devices by notifying them of apps that will no longer receive updates. The timeline for the rollout of these notifications is not yet clear.

Microsoft will begin the expiration of Secure Boot certificates on most PCs in June, marking the end of a 15-year period of stability. This affects all PCs manufactured before 2023. Users will likely need to perform multiple restarts during the update process, which includes pushing data into firmware and loading a new bootloader. Ignoring the Secure Boot deadline in June 2026 may lead to significant security risks, as Microsoft will stop providing essential boot updates and malware blacklists. The Windows Security App has been updated to help users monitor these changes, and users should check for warnings indicating the status of Secure Boot. It is important for Windows 10 users to ensure they are enrolled in the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program to avoid vulnerabilities.

Secure Boot is a security mechanism that authenticates firmware-based software through trusted certificates during the startup process of Windows, preventing unauthorized code execution. It is part of the UEFI firmware standard and was introduced in 2011 to allow only verified, signed code to run at startup. Microsoft first implemented Secure Boot certificates in 2011 as an optional feature in Windows 8, and it remained optional in Windows 10. However, it became a mandatory requirement with the launch of Windows 11 in 2021, indicating the widespread adoption of UEFI systems.

Google is working on enhancing its notification system for app removals from the Play Store. Currently, users do not receive alerts when an app is removed for reasons other than serious security violations. The latest version of the Google Play Store (v51.4.19) contains code indicating a new feature that will notify users when an installed app has been removed, informing them that the app will no longer receive updates. Notifications will vary based on the number of affected apps, providing clear communication to users. These features are still in development and may not be guaranteed for public release.

The Google app is expected to introduce a new “Videos” tab for Android devices, which users can manually enable in a beta version. This tab will be located alongside the “Home” tab and aims to provide personalized video recommendations based on users' preferences and recent searches. The feature may include suggestions from YouTube and other platforms, enhancing multimedia offerings. The “Videos” tab is anticipated to function similarly to the existing “Images” tab, with a search bar and recommended search terms. The timeline for its rollout is currently uncertain.

To tame the Baby Wyvern pet in Crimson Desert, players must first acquire the Focused Force Palm ability, which can be obtained in Chapter 9 if missed in Chapter 4. The process begins by locating Wyvern's Cradle in the southwestern region of Deleysia, clearing out Wyvernflame enemies, and ensuring to speak to Shai if involved in the Children of the Woods quest. Players should then ascend stairs in the crater at Wyvern's Cradle, clear a mineral blockage with the Focused Force Palm, retrieve the wyvern egg from the cave, and place it in the central nest made of twigs. After placing the egg, it will shake and glow, and players must interact with it to hatch the Baby Wyvern, which will register as a companion. The Baby Wyvern will hover nearby and is too large to perch on the player's arm. Future updates will allow it to evolve into a mount.

Enabling Hyper-V on Windows 11 can cause applications like BlueStacks or VirtualBox to lag or fail to launch due to conflicts with CPU virtualization extensions (VT-x/AMD-V). Hyper-V is a Type-1 hypervisor that monopolizes these resources, preventing Type-2 hypervisors from accessing them directly. Common issues include error messages from BlueStacks, LDPlayer, VirtualBox, VMware, and Android Studio related to virtualization availability. To check if Hyper-V is enabled, users can use Task Manager, System Information, Windows Features, Command Prompt, or PowerShell. Disabling Hyper-V can be done through various methods, including unchecking it in Windows Features, using PowerShell, the bcdedit command, or modifying BIOS settings. However, disabling Hyper-V also stops functionalities like WSL2 and Memory Integrity. Some modern emulators, such as BlueStacks and VMware Workstation Pro, have adapted to work alongside Hyper-V, while VirtualBox's compatibility remains experimental. For optimal emulator performance, users should allocate appropriate CPU cores and RAM, ensure virtualization is enabled in BIOS, enable GPU acceleration, and set the Windows power plan to "Best performance." If issues persist, users should confirm Hyper-V is off, check BIOS settings, and reset emulator configurations.

Microsoft has acknowledged an issue affecting Windows Server 2016 systems related to domain controller lookups after the installation of the KB5087537 security update released in May 2026. The problem occurs specifically for devices with hostnames that are exactly 15 characters long, causing domain controller discovery to fail and resulting in an ERRORINVALIDPARAMETER during DCLocator calls. This issue may disrupt administrative operations that depend on domain controller lookups, such as DFS Namespace management. Microsoft is investigating the issue but has not provided a timeline for resolution.
