Oozing fiery, retropunk goodness, this survival game’s new trailer is so cool I’m not even mad about its delay

Into the Fire's early access launch has been delayed to 2026, previously set for 2025. Players will take on the role of a retropunk firefighter in Dante's Archipelago, managing temperature and water supplies while rescuing survivors from volcanic eruptions. The game features a sanctuary called The Hub for recuperation and tool crafting, with an arsenal that includes an axe, foam grenades, and water-dousing shotguns. A notable vehicle in the game is a propeller-driven sledge. The new trailer reveals supernatural elements such as fire jellyfish and ghostly apparitions. Closed playtests will be available to members of the game's Discord community.

Windows currently holds a collective market share of 70.14%, compared to OS X at 9.87% and both Linux and macOS around 5%.

Trash Goblin is a game where players take on the role of a goblin managing a shop that resells items salvaged from refuse. The narrative is minimalist, focusing on acquiring, refurbishing, and selling items, with charming interactions with humans and fantastical beings. The gameplay includes a block puzzle mechanic for item discovery and a "clock" system that limits players to six actions per in-game day, which disrupts the cozy atmosphere. There are no penalties for not fulfilling customer requests, raising questions about the purpose of customer interactions. While players can upgrade tools and expand storage, the lack of meaningful management elements diminishes the incentive to continue playing. The developers have a clear vision for the game, but its mechanics do not fully support a satisfying cozy simulation experience. A new method to circumvent Windows 11’s ‘annoying’ system requirements just came out

Windows 11 has seen slow adoption, with many users sticking to Windows 10 due to its familiarity and concerns over Windows 11's focus on services like OneDrive and Xbox Game Pass. The stringent system requirements for Windows 11 have also deterred potential upgraders. Tools like Rufus have been used to bypass these requirements, and a new tool called Flyby11 has emerged, allowing installation of Windows 11 on unsupported hardware by using the Windows Server installation system. Flyby11 was introduced on October 19 and has received positive feedback from users. Windows 10 support will expire in a year, leading to security vulnerabilities for users who remain on it, as Microsoft will stop providing updates.
