Users of Android Auto are experiencing significant crashing issues, particularly after the release of version 17.2, with some instability also noted in version 17.1. The application crashes shortly after launch, often when users navigate the map or select media, causing the vehicle's display to revert to the native infotainment system. Most affected users are part of the Android Auto beta program, while those on the stable track using version 17.0 have not reported similar problems. Users can revert to a more stable version by exiting the Play Store beta program, uninstalling updates, or sideloading an APK of a previous version.

Asha Sharma, the newly appointed CEO of Xbox, announced a goal to achieve 24 times the peak user engagement of Steam, aiming for 984 million active users daily. This ambition follows the closure of several studios and plans to reduce the workforce by 3,200 employees by 2027. Sharma's vision has been met with criticism for its lack of realism, especially given the simultaneous demand for greater output from a smaller team.

Samsung is redesigning its Galaxy Wearable app to improve user experience with a new interface and enhanced functionality. The app will transition from a black interface to soft blue and purple gradients, organized into three main sections: Watch Faces, Home, and Settings. The Home tab will display the connected Galaxy Watch's image, battery level, and shortcuts for frequently adjusted settings. The watch face browser will show the entire watch with the selected face for better assessment. The Settings menu will have a refined appearance with simpler icons and reorganized options for quicker access. New features include AI-generated Tiles for personalized information aggregation and a raise-to-talk function for the Gemini voice assistant. Health monitoring upgrades will introduce a Daily Cardio Load feature for training recommendations and a Vitals feature to track overnight health metrics. Additionally, a Sound Exposure feature will monitor daily noise levels, and outdoor-focused tools are being developed for Samsung's rugged Ultra watches.
