This issue arose after a recent app update and affects various Android devices, including Pixel phones and Realme devices. While videos display correctly in the “Watch” feed, distortion occurs when selecting videos from the main feed or subreddits. Users have reported the problem across multiple subreddits, and although Reddit has not officially acknowledged the bug, it is anticipated that a fix will be implemented soon.
