Users of YouTube's TV app have reported an increase in lengthy, non-skippable advertisements, some lasting up to 90 seconds, which exceeds the platform's typical cap of 30 seconds for such ads. YouTube's TeamYouTube account clarified that these extended ads are not intentional and that the company does not have a 90-second non-skippable ad format. A poll indicated that about 87% of over 8,600 respondents encountered non-skippable ads longer than 30 seconds, with nearly a third experiencing ads over two minutes. YouTube is investigating these reports.
