Mixing BG3’s tactical combat and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s charm, this medieval RPG just made my Steam wishlist

Norse: Oath of Blood debuted at Steam Next Fest, combining tactical combat similar to Baldur's Gate 3 and XCOM 2 with a vibrant charm akin to Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Players control Gunnar Gripsson and his mercenaries on a quest to find a new home, starting with a mission to eliminate bandits in exchange for villagers' assistance. The game features a grid-based combat system with unique character abilities, allowing for strategic maneuvers. Players can also build a settlement, recruit villagers, and develop facilities. The demo is available until October 20, and the full game will explore a narrative involving Gunnar's quest for vengeance against Steinarr Far-Spear.

League of Legends gets WASD controls: “WASD is the most familiar control scheme for PC games today.”

Riot Games announced the introduction of WASD controls for League of Legends, aiming to create a more welcoming environment for newcomers. The classic point-and-click system will remain available. The rollout of WASD controls will begin with testing in the public beta environment (PBE) and will gradually be integrated across multiple patches, first in non-ranked modes and later in ranked play. Riot Games will focus on player feedback and monitor the impact of WASD controls on gameplay balance, particularly regarding movement and attacking mechanics.
