Windows 11 has released a new preview build (26120.5790) in the Beta channel, enhancing voice dictation with a feature called 'fluid dictation' and expanding AI-powered effects from Windows Studio to more webcams. These updates are exclusive to Copilot+ PCs, prioritizing devices with Intel CPUs, followed by Snapdragon and AMD processors. The File Explorer's Home panel will have new hover options for files, allowing users to open files directly or use the Ask Copilot feature, which requires a Microsoft account. Voice dictation operates on-device using small language models, ensuring no data is sent to the cloud, and is disabled in sensitive text fields. These features are currently unavailable for standard Windows 11 computers.
