Wild Iron

Apex Legends has introduced a mid-season patch for Season 26, featuring the Wild Iron event, which includes gameplay changes such as the Flatline with explosive bullets and the ability to place bombs on downed enemies. Loot crates will now offer more explosive gear, including an EPG grenade launcher, and eight new Wild Cards are available in Replicators. Ash's power has been reduced with an extended dash cooldown from eight to twelve seconds, adjustments to her Arc Snare, and buffs to her Phase Breach. Caustic's gas damage ramps up more slowly, and aim punch from it has been removed. Sparrow has received a nerf with a reduced Tracker Dart duration and decreased effects from the Stinger Bolt. Mad Maggie has received buffs to her Riot Drill and Wrecking Ball, along with technical changes to her speed pads. Seer’s Heartbeat Scanner has been reworked for increased range, and his tactical ability has been adjusted to no longer cancel heals while providing a speed boost. His ultimate ability now allows him to throw his Exhibit up to fifty meters. Weapon adjustments include increased requirements for unlocking hop-ups and a nerf to the Peacekeeper's blast pattern size. The update is set to go live on September 16, with map rotations including E-District, Kings Canyon, and Olympus, and performance enhancements on PC due to a reduction in shader count.
