Microsoft is testing a shared clipboard feature that connects Windows 11 and Android devices through the Link to Windows application. Users can copy text from one device and have it instantly available on another. This feature was discovered in the latest Windows 11 Dev build and requires users to connect their devices via the Link to Windows app. Once set up, the clipboard sync operates effectively, allowing text to appear immediately on the Android device's keyboard. The feature works with various keyboard apps, not just Microsoft's SwiftKey. Currently, it is still in the Dev testing phase, with plans for a public rollout after addressing potential bugs.

Windows 11 includes a feature called the Second-chance out-of-box experience (SCOOBE), which can disrupt user experience by requiring users to navigate through multiple prompts before accessing the desktop. In a recent update to the Windows 11 Dev build, Microsoft has streamlined the SCOOBE process into a single-screen interface with a list of optional features that can be toggled on or off. The new interface includes intuitive buttons for accepting or declining all offers with a single click. The SCOOBE feature typically appears on systems using local accounts or the oobebypassnro command, as well as on devices with Microsoft accounts. Users can disable SCOOBE by going to Settings > System > Notifications > Additional Settings and toggling off the relevant options.

The Windows 11 25H2 update will introduce a feature called User Interaction-Aware CPU Power Management, which reduces performance during periods of inactivity to conserve power. This feature is designed to activate automatically, allowing full performance to be restored when users return to their tasks. It aims to extend battery life for laptops and save energy for desktop users, although actual energy savings may vary based on device type, power mode, and whether the device is plugged in or running on battery.

When energy saver mode is activated, the battery bar will turn yellow, and a chart will track battery usage over time. Users can enable these features by downloading the Windows Dev build and using specific ViveTool commands: to update the battery icon, use "vivetool /enable /id:48822452"; for section labels on the battery usage graph, use "vivetool /enable /id:53092139"; and if needed, enable "vivetool /enable /id:48433719" and reboot. These updates will eventually be rolled out to all users in the testing branch.
