WhatsApp on desktop now supports pinning of messages, allowing users to highlight important messages in both group and personal conversations by pinning up to three messages for a set duration. Another new feature is the Windows Share integration, which enables users to share content directly from WhatsApp using Windows 11's Share UI. Performance improvements have been made, including addressing laggy animations on Intel-based PCs, but some users may still experience issues when running WhatsApp on battery power or without a GPU. Additional features include Meta AI integration, a responsive interface, and a built-in sticker maker. The updated WhatsApp app is available in the Microsoft Store.
