Homeworld 3 developer acquires the rights to its superior previous game about salvaging spaceships, with ‘multiple’ new projects in the works

Blackbird Interactive has acquired full ownership of its game, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, from Focus Entertainment, granting the studio sole rights to the title and its intellectual property. The game involves dismantling decommissioned spaceships in a zero-gravity environment, dealing with hazardous materials, and explores themes of worker exploitation. Blackbird has also initiated the LYNX pioneer program to involve fans in future developments.
