In a recent move by Roskomnadzor, a total of 18 websites have been added to the registry of prohibited sites due to their illegal distribution of the film “Who Am I.” According to reports from CNews, referencing an unofficial copy of the registry, the blocked sites include a mix of torrent trackers, online cinemas, and file-sharing platforms.
Details of the Blocked Websites
The list of prohibited resources comprises:
- Ten torrent trackers:
- hot-torrent.org

- luxtorrents.com
- mz-tracker.net
- torrentz.pp.ua

- new-torrent.net
- besttorrents.org
- frutor.org
- hdreactor.org
- Five online cinemas:

- films3.net
- kinoman.az

This action follows a procedural simplification introduced in 2015, which allows for the blocking of websites based on a ruling from the Moscow City Court regarding a single resource. Once such a ruling is established, Roskomnadzor can block other sites hosting similar content upon direct request from copyright holders.
In this instance, the rights holder for “Who Am I,” the company “25th Floor,” secured a ruling against one specific site, dream-film.net. Consequently, the remaining websites were blocked following a direct appeal from the rights holder to Roskomnadzor.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time such measures have been taken. Previously, over ten pirate sites in Russia, including the well-known torrent tracker rutor.org, faced lifetime bans.
