Creators of the Russian film “The Wizard of the Emerald City” have announced its upcoming release on various streaming platforms. Viewers will be able to access the film on Okko, Kinopoisk, Wink, and Ivi starting March 15. Naturally, shortly after its release, the film is expected to be available on torrents across the country in high quality.
Film Synopsis
The story unfolds in a distant city where a young girl named Ellie resides. One fateful day, the wicked witch Gingham conjures a hurricane that sweeps Ellie and her beloved dog Toto away to the Land of the Munchkins. To find her way back home, Ellie embarks on a journey along the yellow brick road, accompanied by her newfound friends—the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion. Together, they seek the Wizard in the Emerald City, hoping he will grant their deepest wishes.
Since its theatrical release on January 1, “The Wizard of the Emerald City” has grossed over 3.3 billion rubles, establishing itself as one of the highest-grossing films in Russian box office history.
