In a recent short video shared on Team Liquid’s official YouTube channel, players Marcus ‘Ace’ Folke Helgard Kristensen and Samuel ‘Boxi’ Swan unveiled a powerful combination for the offlane: the synergy between Shadow Demon and Kunkka. This duo aims to elevate players’ rankings through strategic gameplay.
Ace: “This is a very strong lane. You have Disruption under Torrent—it’s perfect for Kunkka to set up plays.”
Boxi: “The plan is to start securing kills from level three. You throw two Shadow Poison at the enemy, then spam Disruption as soon as it’s off cooldown. Kunkka, using Torrent, can help you land hits. Ideally, you want to attack the opponent with the lowest HP since you’re the one dealing damage. Yes, it’s a really fun lane. I also think Shadow Demon is excellent for stacking in the ‘triangle.’ By level seven, Kunkka with his ultimate can farm those stacks, allowing both of you to accumulate a lot of gold. Everyone loves gold.”
