Windows 10 Insiders Receive New Build from Microsoft
Microsoft has rolled out a new build, 19045.4713, for Windows 10 Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview channels. This update includes bug fixes for Universal Print, Windows Backup, Group Policy, and more.
Improvements for Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel
- [Search on the Taskbar] Users will now see the search box on secondary monitors when the taskbar setting is set to “Search box.”
Insiders in the Beta Channel can access these features by turning on the toggle in Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. By enabling this toggle, users will receive the latest updates as they become available.
Features and Improvements for Windows Insiders in Beta and Release Preview Channels
- [FrameShutdownDelay] The browser now ignores the value in the registry key, preventing shutdown delays.
- [Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 (WPA3)] HTML preview rendering in the Group Policy editor has been fixed.
- [Group Policy Preferences ILT and Local Users and Groups] Issues with choosing groups and accounts have been resolved.
- [TCP] System responsiveness during file transfers has been improved.
- [Print Support App] Printing issues with USB devices and user interface functions have been addressed.
- [Universal Print clients] Communication failures with the Universal Print service have been fixed.
- [WDAC] Various issues related to Windows Defender Application Control have been resolved.
- [DriverSiPolicy.p7b] Vulnerable driver blocklist has been updated to prevent BYOVD attacks.
- [Windows Backup] Backup failures with EFI system partitions have been fixed.
- [DHCP Option 235] Issues with Microsoft Connected Cache nodes have been resolved to reduce download traffic.
