Microsoft Resolves Windows Bugs and Issues

Microsoft has successfully addressed various bugs and problems on both Windows 11 and Windows 10 in the past week. One of the issues fixed was the “Open with” dialogue problem on the Windows 10 taskbar. Additionally, users with multi-monitor setups on Windows 10 no longer have to deal with icons moving back and forth between screens, as this issue has been resolved.

On the Windows 11 side, Microsoft has resumed the rollout of a problematic update that had previously been paused. Some users had encountered difficulties downloading the June Patch Tuesday updates for both Windows 11 and Windows 10, receiving a “0x80245006” error message.

One Windows 11 Forum user, Draken, expressed frustration with the error, stating, “Hi, I recently reset Windows 11 and now I am unable to search for updates due to error 0x80245006. I have tried various solutions found online, but none have worked.”

Another user, N K Evinrude, suspected that a recent Bitdefender VPN update might be linked to the issue, saying, “I can’t update Windows due to error code 0x80245006. I also use Bitdefender and recently updated Bitdefender VPN. I believe the VPN update may be causing the problem, but I’m unsure about which settings need to be adjusted.”

However, Microsoft has confirmed that the error 0x80245006 update problem has been resolved. In a response on the Feedback Hub, Microsoft employee Jennifer G assured users that the issue should now be fixed, encouraging users to report any ongoing problems.
