Exclusive Trailer Revealed for Aniimo at Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025
Developer Pawprint Studio, in collaboration with publisher Kingsglory, has unveiled a new look at their highly anticipated creature-catching ARPG, Aniimo, with an exclusive trailer showcased during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 broadcast.

The new trailer showcases a variety of the game’s namesake, Aniimo—creatures that inhabit the world of Idyll and can accompany players as Pathfinders on their journeys. Players will encounter Aniimo behaving differently in various environments and weather conditions, showcasing characteristics such as peacefulness, provocation, protectiveness, group living, and solitary roaming.
A number of Aniimo were highlighted in the trailer, offering players a glimpse of the interactions these colorful creatures may have with their environment and each other:
- Stellarys – An evolution of Celestis that emerges only on rainy days, Stellarys utilizes water for defense and offense, traveling solo across Idyll. To add a Stellarys to their roster, players must capture one in the wild as a Celestis owned by a Pathfinder will not evolve into Stellarys during rainy weather.
- Helgon and Helmut – Helgons can exploit Helmuts’ weaknesses in the wild, prompting them to evolve in different ways. Most Helmuts evolve into Rookguard, gaining the ability to transform into a metal sphere for protection. However, some brave Helmuts may evolve into Pawney, enabling them to challenge Infregon, the Helgon’s family boss.
These interactions and evolutions offer a glimpse of the diversity among the Aniimo, encouraging Pathfinders to explore Idyll and discover more. Players eager to experience Aniimo can pre-register on the official website for the latest updates and a chance to participate in upcoming beta tests.
