The app is part of Samsung’s Vision AI Companion platform, which was unveiled at the IFA 2025 trade show last month. Designed with user experience in mind, the interface showcases visual answer cards that are specifically optimized for larger screens, moving beyond the limitations of traditional text-based results.

After granting microphone access, users can pose voice questions like, “Which movies did James Cameron direct?” Alternatively, queries can be typed using an onscreen or USB keyboard.
Available now with free Perplexity Pro for a year
The Perplexity-powered app is currently available for all 2025 Samsung TVs, with plans to extend access to users of 2023 and 2024 models through an operating system update later this year.
