Game Delayed to March Launch
The official website for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Netmarble’s open-world game based on Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins manga franchise, announced that the game’s launch date has been pushed back to March. Originally scheduled for January 28, the game will now be released on March 16 for PlayStation 5 and Steam, and on March 23 for iOS and Android.
Sony describes The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin as an open-world RPG that reimagines the world of the popular anime series. Players will explore a warped Britannia where time and space collide, experiencing a brand-new story with familiar characters and original heroes. Dynamic combat and seamless exploration are promised in this anime adventure.
The game, first announced in January 2022, will feature an original story and a new protagonist. Characters such as Tristan, Tioreh, and Clotho are listed to appear in the game. Netmarble, the developer, previously launched The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross for iOS and Android in 2019 and The Seven Deadly Sins: IDLE Adventure in 2024.
With the new launch date set for March, fans of The Seven Deadly Sins franchise will have to wait a bit longer to dive into this immersive gaming experience.
