AYANEO Unveils KONKR Pocket BLOCK Handheld
AYANEO has given us a first official look at the KONKR Pocket BLOCK handheld, following a recent leak. The device appears to be a pocket-friendly vertical handheld that could potentially be more affordable than the company’s current Game Boy-style devices.
The company showcased the KONKR Pocket BLOCK during a streamed event, confirming its existence and revealing images of the device online. The handheld features a Game Boy-style design, with no analog sticks, a microSD card slot on the left, and a 3.5mm port at the bottom. It will be available in grey and purple color options.
While AYANEO claims that this is the first AI handheld, details on the AI features are still unclear. However, the compact size of the device makes it an attractive option for those looking for a pocket-friendly Android handheld.
Although core specs have not been officially announced, previous leaks suggest that the KONKR Pocket BLOCK could come with a 3,500mAh battery and 10W wired charging. Coupled with its plastic build, the device is expected to offer a relatively affordable price point.
In addition to the KONKR Pocket BLOCK, AYANEO also unveiled a special edition Pocket AIR Mini handheld preloaded with licensed IGS arcade titles. The arcade edition of the Pocket AIR Mini will be available in 2GB/32GB and 3GB/64GB models, priced at 9.99 and 9.99 respectively.
Overall, AYANEO’s latest announcements offer exciting options for handheld gaming enthusiasts, with a focus on affordability and unique gaming experiences.
