Once Human: A Unique Survival Game Experience
Once Human, a free-to-play survival game, has taken the gaming world by storm with its archetypal survival game launch experience. Despite being a giant, buggy to-do list, the game has attracted well over 100,000 concurrent players, making it one of the top games on Steam currently.
One of the unique features of Once Human is its seasonal structure. Each server is linked to a “seasonal scenario,” and at the end of each season, the server disappears, only to be replaced by new seasonal servers with fresh scenarios. While some players have feared losing all their progress at the end of the initial six-week scenario, developer Starry Studios reassured players in a recent post on Steam that the system is not as extreme as it may seem.
