Mangmi Announces New Vertical Handheld Consoles: Air Y and Air Y Pro
In the future, Mangmi plans to release vertical handheld consoles Air Y and Air Y Pro with different numbers of joysticks, a Qualcomm processor, and minimal bezels around the screen.
Gamers from different countries have already become familiar with Mangmi’s handheld consoles. In 2025, they received the Air X with a 5.5-inch IPS screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip, and 4 GB of RAM, and in 2026, the Pocket Max with a Snapdragon 865 chip, 8 GB of RAM, and a 7-inch AMOLED display.
Now it has become known that the developers have announced a device called Air Y. It will be released in two versions, including the Air Y Pro, which is equipped with not one, but two analog joysticks.
Judging by the image, two color options will be available: black and “retro”. Some believe that the Mangmi Air Y Pro resembles the TRIMUI Brick Pro, but nowadays most vertical handheld consoles with screens from 4 to 5 inches look similar.
The analog joysticks have LED backlighting, a volume wheel is apparently located on the side, the bezels around the screen are minimal, and a Qualcomm processor, whose name has not yet been disclosed, is responsible for performance. And, naturally, this console will also be Android-oriented.
