Phocus Mobile Launches on Android, Elevating Hasselblad Photography
Phocus Mobile, the innovative application from Hasselblad, has made its long-awaited debut on the Android platform, enabling users to process, view, and export RAW photographs directly from their smartphones and tablets. This app is compatible with a range of Hasselblad cameras, including the X2D II 100C, X2D 100C, and the 907X & CFV 100C, providing a seamless experience for photographers on the go.
At the heart of Phocus Mobile lies the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS), which delivers an exceptional mobile photography experience. The app integrates AI-powered noise reduction, a robust suite of editing tools, and an efficient photo preview and management system, all designed to streamline the mobile workflow for photographers.
For users with HDR-capable Android devices, the app showcases the full dynamic range of HNCS HDR when processing images from the X2D II 100C. This feature allows for stunning visuals that capture deep shadow details, bright highlights, and smooth color gradations, closely mirroring the way the human eye perceives the world. Additionally, Phocus Mobile provides the ability to fine-tune HDR highlights, offering greater control over high-contrast images.
Another noteworthy feature is the Hasselblad Natural Noise Reduction (HNNR), now available on Android.
