Some configurations, if neglected, can hinder your PC’s speed, while others can enhance it significantly. A prime example is the Windows Power Mode, reminiscent of the “turbo button” found on early PCs. This feature allows users to toggle between different performance settings, impacting how efficiently the system operates.

1. Windows Power Mode

The Windows Power Mode has been a staple since Windows 10, and it continues to play a crucial role in Windows 11. OneDrive continuously syncs files between the cloud and your PC, which can consume bandwidth and processing power, particularly on asymmetric broadband connections where upload speeds lag behind downloads.
