The original PC version of Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King was initially released in March 2017 and has garnered positive feedback from players, with an impressive 86% approval rating on Steam based on over 722 user reviews. While many players appreciate the expansive game world, interactive elements, and engaging puzzles, some have criticized the developers for drawing too heavily on inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, with some going as far as labeling the game as a mere “copy-paste” of the iconic title. Nonetheless, there are those who find the nostalgic homage to be a charming aspect of Blossom Tales.
