In the enchanting world of Hollow Knight: Silksong, players are on a quest to uncover the elusive Pollip Hearts, a vital resource for enhancing combat capabilities. These striking purple flowers are not only visually captivating but also serve as a key component in one of the game’s side quests. While they are relatively easy to spot, navigating to their locations can be a bit of a challenge. The journey to collect all six Pollip Hearts is particularly rewarding, especially before facing the formidable Sister Splinter.
All Silksong Pollip locations
Pollips are strategically placed throughout the Shellwood area, making them easier to locate compared to other quest items that may drop randomly. Players can identify the presence of a Pollip by observing the delicate purple petals cascading from above. If you notice these flowers blooming nearby, you’re in luck—one is likely close at hand.
However, simply reaching a Pollip isn’t enough to claim its heart. To unlock the ability to gather these treasures, players must first speak to Greyroot, who can be found in Shellwood. To locate Greyroot, head west from the central bench, drop down the elevator gap, and glide to the platform on the left. Continue along the upper level, taking the left-hand path until you enter the dwelling on the far left.
Here are all the Silksong Pollip locations:
Pollip #1
This Pollip is situated directly below the Sister Splinter boss room. Utilize a downward attack to bounce off the flowers and reach the Pollip nestled in the top-left corner of the ceiling. If you encounter difficulty, consider switching to a Silksong Crest that allows for a vertical dive, as multiple hits are necessary to break it open. Ancestral Arts and Tools can also expedite the process.
Pollip #2
For this Pollip, venture into a secret path concealed behind a wasp nest, located east of the area where you acquire the Silksong Wall Jump ability. Move right and execute a wall jump to ascend to the upper level. Navigate over the platforms on the left until you find yourself in a small lake adjacent to the wasp nest. To tackle the nest, lure the wasps to the safety of a high platform on the right, then unleash Silkspear with the silk earned from defeating them. Afterward, proceed down and to the right to discover the Pollip.
Pollip #3
This Pollip can be found in the northwestern corner of Shellwood, just below where players gain the Wall Jump ability. Look for it tucked away in an alcove along the left-hand wall; using the Drifter’s Cloak will allow for a smooth glide down to reach it.
Pollip #4
Located in the first area after leaving Bellhart, this Pollip is positioned on the path southeast of Shellwood’s central bench. Stand on the elevated platform at the top of the room, then leap and glide across to the wall on the right. Execute a wall jump to access the Pollip on the left, which is guarded by two wasps.
Pollip #5
This Pollip is accessible via an alternate route out of the bell tunnels leading to the Silksong Widow. Instead of dropping down to the platform above the boss room, break through the false wall on the left to enter a secluded section of Shellwood. Traverse left over the platforms suspended above thorny vines, keeping an eye out for a fly that may drop from the ceiling. Destroy the vines on the bottom right to unveil the secret cave harboring this Pollip.
Pollip #6
The final Pollip is relatively straightforward to obtain, though it requires some backtracking from Greyroot’s dwelling. Use your Silksong Dash ability to sprint and jump towards the ledge, gaining enough height to reach it. Ascend the platforms to find the Pollip on the right.
After successfully gathering all six Silksong Pollips, return to Greyroot to receive the coveted Pollip Pouch. This Silksong Tool enhances your Needle by applying venom, allowing for increased damage output. For those eager to further bolster their arsenal, remember to collect the Silksong Pale Oil for additional weapon upgrades, empowering you to face the challenges ahead with renewed vigor.
