Indiana Jones will come to PS5 in the Spring of 2025
Microsoft hasn’t announced a specific date for the game on PS5. It has said though that the game would be released for PS5 sometime next Spring. So there’s at least a general timeframe that’s more narrowed down than “sometime next year.”
Indiana Jones is one of Microsoft’s most anticipated big games for the Xbox platform. And due to this status, many weren’t sure if the company would actually launch it on Sony’s rival console. However, past rumors fueled by confirmation of other Microsoft first-party games coming to PS5 made Indiana Jones more believable. Starfield was also rumored to be coming to PS5 at one point, but that has yet to pan out.
Xbox and PC will see the game on December 9
If you don’t want to wait for the PS5 release, you can play the game a lot earlier. You just need an Xbox or a PC capable of playing games. Microsoft and Bethesda have confirmed the launch date for the upcoming game, and it’ll be available to play starting December 9. This puts it right near the end of the holiday shopping season and just a few weeks before Christmas. That should be plenty of time to get physical copies under the tree for those who plan to forego a digital download.
For platform specifics, it’ll be available for both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. On PC, you can pick it up on Steam. It will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass, so you can download it either Xbox or PC that way too. It’s not clear yet if the game will be playable in the cloud if you have the Ultimate tier plan.
