CHARTS: Rematch debuts at No.2 on Steam in another victory for Kepler

Kepler Interactive has once again demonstrated its prowess in the gaming industry with the successful launch of its latest football title, Rematch, which has made a notable debut at No. 2 on Steam. Released on June 19th, this game comes from the talented developers at Sloclap, who previously captivated audiences with Absolver in 2017 and Sifu in 2021. Earlier this year, Kepler Interactive also introduced Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which has impressively sold over 3.3 million copies since its release.

Steam’s Competitive Landscape

In the ongoing battle for dominance on Steam, Counter-Strike 2 continues to reign supreme as the highest-grossing title. Meanwhile, Dune: Awakening has climbed one position to secure the third spot, attracting over one million players to date. The resurgence of Dead by Daylight into the Top Ten at fourth place can be attributed to a significant 60 percent price reduction, placing it ahead of the indie co-op climbing sensation, Peak, which launched on June 16th and has already surpassed one million copies sold.

In the rankings, PUBG: Battlegrounds has slipped four spots to sixth, while Valve’s Steam Deck hardware has also seen a decline, falling two positions to seventh. The newly-released hack-and-slash title Stellar Blade has experienced a drop of five places to No. 8. Meanwhile, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond from Cygames has managed to secure the ninth position in its second week on sale. Rounding out the Top Ten is Black Myth: Wukong, benefiting from a rare discount that has helped maintain its presence in the competitive landscape.

Here is the Steam Top Ten for the week ending June 24th:

  1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
  2. Rematch, Kepler Interactive
  3. Dune: Awakening, Funcom
  4. Dead by Daylight, Behaviour Interactive
