Minecraft has unveiled an exciting addition with the announcement of Fall Drop 3 for 2025, introducing a plethora of new crafting possibilities centered around copper. This update, however, is exclusive to the Bedrock Edition, leaving Java Edition players awaiting their own enhancements.
Ultimate Copper Golem guide for Minecraft
The Copper Golem, currently available in an experimental format on the Bedrock Edition, is a highly anticipated feature set to debut in the upcoming third game drop. Unlike Iron Golems, which spawn naturally, players will need to craft their own Copper Golem to bring this new entity into their world.
Crafting recipe for Copper Golem
To create a Copper Golem, players must first gather the necessary materials. This begins with mining copper blocks using a stone pickaxe. Copper veins, characterized by their grey stones adorned with orange and greenish specks, can typically be found in open caves.
To craft a Copper Golem, players will need:
- At least nine raw copper pieces to create one copper block.
- Smelt the raw copper in a furnace to convert it into ingots.
- Arrange nine ingots on a crafting table to form one copper block.
- A carved pumpkin, which can be found in grassy biomes. Use shears on a pumpkin block to carve it.
Once you have the Copper Block and the Carved Pumpkin, place the Copper Block below and the Carved Pumpkin above it. This action will not only summon a Copper Golem but will also transform the Copper Block into a Copper Chest, which is linked to the Golem’s tasks.
Uses of Copper Golem
The Copper Golem serves as a peaceful companion, functioning as an automatic item sorter and storage assistant. When players drop items into the Copper Chest adjacent to the Golem, it will retrieve the items and organize them into a strong wooden chest.
The Golem can handle up to 16 stacks of items simultaneously, efficiently sorting them into chests that contain similar items. If no matching chest is found, it will create a new one for the items, streamlining the organization process for players.
How to change Copper Golem’s color
As players may know, unwaxed copper items undergo oxidation, transitioning to a green-blue hue over time. The same applies to the Copper Golem. To maintain its reddish-brown appearance, players can apply honeycomb to the Golem, preventing it from oxidizing.
With this guide, players are now equipped to craft their own Copper Golem and leverage its unique abilities for item storage and sorting, enhancing their Minecraft experience.
