Square Enix Opens Pre-Registration for Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy
Square Enix has announced the opening of pre-registration for Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, a new 3v3 team-based boss battle arena set to launch on iOS and Android in 2026. The free-to-play title is now available for pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play.
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is the latest installment in the Dissidia subseries, bringing together characters from the expansive Final Fantasy franchise. Unlike previous titles, this new game shifts to a 3v3 arena format where teams race to defeat a powerful boss. Matches also feature roaming monsters that can disrupt gameplay as teams vie for victory.
To kick off pre-registration, Square Enix has released the game’s opening cinematic. The video showcases familiar Final Fantasy characters living everyday lives in modern Tokyo before being called to defend the city from a Behemoth in the Ginza district.
A pre-registration celebration campaign is currently running, offering bonuses to players who sign up early. These bonuses include rewards such as Ability Draw pulls, background music tracks from previous Dissidia titles, and Character Tickets to unlock playable fighters.
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy features a fully Japanese-voiced main story and character episodes focusing on daily life. The game’s combat system uses simplified controls for one-handed play, with character abilities illustrated by guest artists. The use of cel-shaded character models gives the game a unique visual style compared to previous Dissidia titles.
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy will be available for free on iOS and Android devices in 2026. Will you be diving into this new Dissidia experience? Share your thoughts and stay tuned to Noisy Pixel for more updates on Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy and other Final Fantasy news.
