Grid Legends Racing Sim Coming to Mobile in December
The highly anticipated EA/Codemasters racing sim Grid Legends is set to make its debut on mobile devices this December, following its initial release on consoles and PC in 2022. This mobile version is actually a port of the deluxe edition of the game, which was originally launched in 2023 and includes all available DLC and additional features.
Available for both iOS and Android, Grid Legends will offer “full support for all popular gamepads”, catering to a wide range of players. For those without a third-party gamepad, the game will also feature touch and tilt controls for a seamless gaming experience.
The trailer for the mobile release showcases stunning visuals captured on mobile devices, giving players a glimpse of the console-worthy graphics that await them.
However, there are specific device requirements for running the game. On iOS, Grid Legends will only be compatible with the iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, and all models released since the iPhone 14. For iPad users, the game will run on any device with an M1 chip or better. On the Android side, compatibility is limited to devices equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips.
Preorders for Grid Legends are currently available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, priced at . While an official release date has not been announced, the game is expected to launch sometime in December.
