FMV Psychological Horror Game ‘Hello Stranger’ Coming to PC in May

Aviary Studios has unveiled an intriguing addition to the gaming landscape with their upcoming full-motion video (FMV) psychological horror-thriller game, “Hello Stranger.” Set to launch on PC via Steam in May 2025, this title promises to immerse players in a gripping narrative that intertwines technology and suspense.

Game Overview

Written and directed by the acclaimed Paul Raschid, known for his work on “The Complex,” “Hello Stranger” centers around the life of Cam, a man whose existence revolves entirely around his smart home. From work to shopping, entertainment, and social interactions, Cam relies heavily on the Hello Stranger platform—a randomized video chatting app that connects him with strangers from around the world.

The plot thickens when a seemingly innocuous chat takes a sinister turn. During one of these random sessions, Cam encounters a masked stranger whose voice is unnervingly altered. After a tense exchange, Cam abruptly exits the call, only to discover that the stranger has infiltrated his smart home system, locking him inside. What follows is a harrowing series of challenges, as the stranger compels Cam to participate in three life-or-death games, with his survival hinging on the choices players make throughout the experience.

The game features a remarkable ensemble of talent, including:
