From $4.99 to $0.00: New giveaway available for limited time with ad-free experience

Epic Games’ Latest Mobile Giveaway: Limited Time Offer

Epic Games’ latest giveaway for mobile gamers will not be around for long. Available for less than 72 hours, the storefront’s latest free game includes Fortnite unlocks and an ad-free gaming experience, all without having to spend a penny. Dumb Ways to Die can be claimed on Android or iOS.

Epic Games is still running last week’s games giveaway on PC, with another on the way for the same platform. At the same time, the storefront is also offering Dumb Ways to Die on Android and iOS. On the face of it, this week’s mobile giveaway is not a generous one.

In a press release, Epic Games merely states that Dumb Ways to Die can be picked up until January 22, but only in the European Union for iOS users. For some reason, the storefront has not acknowledged how its release differs from the free-to-play title that can be installed from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. For reference, Dumb Ways to Die generally receives mixed reviews on the Google Play Store after over 50 million reviews.

Subsequently, the game’s developers have clarified that the Epic Games’ latest mobile giveaway provides an advert-free experience, whereas its Apple App Store or Google Play Store releases do not. Additionally, adding Dumb Ways to Die to your Epic Games account unlocks an accompanying Fortnite bundle, which includes emotes and backblings. This week’s mobile giveaway can be claimed either directly on Epic Games’ mobile stores or via this instant checkout link.
