During the recent Sony State of Play event, the teams revealed that this asymmetric stealth horror game is set to launch on September 8, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Accompanying this announcement is a captivating new gameplay trailer, which showcases the chilling atmosphere of the game.

Set against the backdrop of Haddonfield, Halloween pays homage to John Carpenter’s iconic film. Players will navigate the tense streets and shadowy corners of the town, choosing to embody either a desperate Civilian or the notorious Michael Myers. Each match presents a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, where every choice can lead to survival or demise.

Civilians must protect their fellow townsfolk by:

Guiding them to safety
Scavenging for weapons and supplies
Finding a phone to call for help before time runs out

With danger lurking at every turn, success hinges on strategy, teamwork, and quick thinking.

On the other side, Michael Myers lurks in the shadows, utilizing terrifying abilities such as Shape Jump to traverse the map undetected and strike with chilling precision, ensuring a heart-pounding experience for all involved.
