How to beat Fourth Chorus in Silksong

Facing the Fourth Chorus in Hollow Knight: Silksong is an experience that invites players to engage their strategic thinking, albeit with a lighthearted twist. This particular boss introduces a unique challenge, requiring players to navigate a series of specific actions to emerge victorious. The battle is further complicated by the Fourth Chorus’s relentless attacks, which threaten to send players tumbling into molten lava below.

Before confronting this formidable foe, players must acquire the Drifter’s Cloak and locate some Hokers to facilitate their escape from the Far Fields. This upgrade is not only essential for the fight but also necessary to reach the boss itself.

How to beat the Fourth Chorus in Silksong

The Fourth Chorus employs a straightforward yet effective attack pattern consisting of three main moves:

  1. Smashing the platform: The boss raises his hand and crashes it down, targeting the very ground you stand on.
  2. Swiping across the platform: With his hand extended, he attempts to swipe you off. A well-timed jump, combined with the ability to descend slowly using the Drifter’s Cloak, can help you evade this attack.
  3. Raining down fireballs: By striking the ceiling, the Fourth Chorus unleashes a barrage of rocky fireballs. Staying alert and avoiding their descent is crucial for survival.

The key to defeating the Fourth Chorus lies in your ability to stun him before he obliterates all the platforms. Embrace an aggressive approach—jump up and land hits on his face to achieve this. Once stunned, the platform will regenerate as he falls onto it, allowing you to inflict damage for a brief period.

After dealing sufficient damage, two wind columns will appear on either side of the arena. Utilize your Drifter’s Cloak to ascend and strike the explosive rocks positioned at the top of the chamber. Successfully triggering both will cause a massive rock to descend from the ceiling, ultimately crushing the Fourth Chorus and concluding the encounter with a satisfying finish.
