Fortnite Now Available on iOS and Android Devices
After a series of legal battles, Epic Games Store, along with Fortnite, is now accessible on iOS devices in EU countries and on Android devices globally. To celebrate this milestone, Epic has even released a free Fortnite skin for mobile users.
For Android users, the process is straightforward. Simply download the Epic Games Store on your phone by visiting fortnite.com/download or scanning the QR code on the PC webpage. Once installed, open the app, find Fortnite, and start the download.
However, for iOS users, the availability is limited to the EU region. To install Fortnite on iOS, you must verify your location and follow the prompts accordingly. Unfortunately, users outside the EU, including the UK, will have to wait for further updates.
Apple’s app store policies have been a point of contention for Epic, leading to accusations of anticompetitive behavior. As a result, the EU and the UK have taken steps to allow the Epic Games Store on iOS devices. While the UK is expected to see Fortnite on iOS in the second half of 2025, the situation in the US remains uncertain with no set timeline for the game’s availability on iOS devices.
