Hooded Horse to Release New Game Cataclismo in Early Access
Hooded Horse, known for their success with the real-time strategy game Manor Lords, is set to launch another exciting game next week. The upcoming game, Cataclismo, developed by Digital Sun Games, combines real-time strategy and tower defense elements, offering players the freedom to strategize and build defenses to fend off nightly attacks from “horrors.”
While Cataclismo will debut in early access, fans of RTS, base-building, and tower defense games are eagerly anticipating its release. With titles like Manor Lords and now Cataclismo, Hooded Horse is establishing itself as a prominent PC game publisher.
Cataclismo follows Lady Iris on a quest to find the Atla Perl in a world plagued by corruption and horrors. Players must utilize RTS mechanics, emphasizing tower defense and base building, reminiscent of games like Age of Empires.
Building defenses during the day is crucial to surviving nightly attacks, requiring players to manage resources and command units effectively. The game’s modularity in base-building mechanics offers depth and challenges players to create strategic defenses.
As players progress through missions and objectives, Cataclismo presents a dynamic and engaging RTS experience, keeping players engaged and challenged. With additional modes and gameplay systems, including Steam Workshop support and a level editor, the game promises longevity and player creativity.
