Master Chief Reaches Smartphones – Halo: Combat Evolved Gets Fan Port for Android

Fans Get Creative with Smartphone Gaming

Fans of the classic game Halo: Combat Evolved have found a new way to enjoy the game on their smartphones. Thanks to the OpenCE Ports project, an unofficial port of the game has been released for Android devices. This port is based on the decompilation of the original Xbox version of the game.

The port includes the full story campaign of the game, and the developers have also announced multiplayer support. Players can enjoy online multiplayer or play with up to four players on a single device with a split screen. Each player can connect a separate gamepad for a more immersive experience.

For smartphone users, touch controls and gyroscope aiming are available. Players can customize the size and location of on-screen buttons to suit their preferences.
