Meta Launches New Vibe-Coding App “Pocket”

Vibe-coding is becoming more accessible in 2026, with Meta introducing its new app called Pocket. This app is designed for individuals with creative ideas for games and experiences but lack the coding skills to bring them to life. Pocket utilizes AI to vibe-code creations, referred to as “gizmos,” making it easier for users to build without manual coding.

The app also features a social feed where users can explore gizmos created by others, interact with them, and even remix them to create something new. These gizmos respond to touch, phone tilt, play sound effects and music, access the camera, and utilize photos from the camera roll, offering a wide range of interactive possibilities.

While Pocket is primarily focused on game development, it also has the potential for creating unique camera filters and experiences similar to popular apps like Snapchat. With Meta’s acquisition of the vibe-coded game development platform Gizmo, Pocket is a clear result of that merger, showcasing Meta’s commitment to expanding its offerings in the vibe-coding space.

Although the app is not yet available in all regions, it signifies Meta’s continued investment in innovative technologies and user-friendly tools for creative expression.
