Microsoft confirms Modern Warfare III’s Game Pass launch

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on Game Pass includes all modes

If you’re looking to dive into Modern Warfare III tomorrow, you will have your pick of content to play through. The game’s arrival on Game Pass will open up access to all modes of play. This means you can check out the single-player campaign, or jump right into the multiplayer or Zombies modes.

Microsoft has also released a new trailer to hype up tomorrow’s launch, which you can check out below. Modern Warfare III will be the first Call of Duty game on Xbox Game Pass. It won’t be the last, however. Microsoft confirmed earlier this year that Black Ops 6 would launch on the service as a day-one game.

Do Game Pass subscribers have access to any extras?

This is undoubtedly something that some players are going to wonder about. Whether or not you will get any extra benefits as a Game Pass subscriber. Such as a battle pass unlock. Microsoft doesn’t mention anything about that in its announcement post. So it’s probably safe to assume that if you want access to the entirety of the battle pass, you’ll have to spend some CoD points on it. If this is the case, then you’ll also have the option to buy the Black Cell battle pass which is .

As mentioned before, this will get you CoD points, 25 battle pass tokens to use right away, and a special Black Cell-exclusive sector with blueprints and other items you can only get from the Black Cell battle pass. While you will probably still have to spend money on these in-game items, the game itself won’t cost you money if you’re already subscribed to Game Pass. So you still end up with a decent deal there. Of course, if you already own the game on PC, you can also play it via GeForce NOW.
