Get the Release Candidate
The Release Candidates are now available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To access this latest version, simply open the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab. Please note that testing versions may pose a risk of world corruption, so we strongly advise backing up your data or running these versions in a separate folder from your main worlds.
For those interested in exploring the non-obfuscated experimental version of this snapshot, you can obtain it through the Minecraft Launcher by following these steps:
- Download the provided zip file.
- Extract the folder into the “versions” directory of your local Minecraft application data folder.
- Start (or restart) the Launcher.
- Create a new launch installation and select the “unobfuscated 1.21.11 Release Candidate 2_unobfuscated” version.
- Launch the game; the remaining files will automatically download.
An unobfuscated server jar is also available for download.
