Today marks a significant milestone as we prepare to ship the first release candidate for version 26.1.2, addressing a couple of critical issues identified in the previous release. If all goes smoothly and no further complications arise, we anticipate that version 26.1.2 will be officially launched tomorrow, remaining unchanged from its current state.

Get the Release Candidate
The Release Candidates are now available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To embark on this new journey, simply open the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab.
- Important: Testing versions can potentially corrupt your world. We strongly recommend backing up your data and/or running these versions in a separate folder from your main worlds.
For those eager to dive in, the cross-platform server jar is ready for download. Should you encounter any bugs, we encourage you to report them through the designated channels.
