The spear has gracefully taken the crown from the pickaxe as the preferred tool of choice for many, myself included. Inspired by my father’s wise words, “You can always do better,” I find myself particularly enthusiastic about the introduction of spear training dummies.
These innovative targets come in four intriguing variations: Skeleton, Drowned, Zombie, and Husk. They serve as exceptional practice partners, allowing you to unleash a flurry of stabbing motions without a hint of complaint. The only outcome is a noticeable enhancement in your spear-wielding prowess!
The Spear Trials
After thoroughly testing your skills on the dummies, it’s time to transition from practice to a real challenge. You may be wondering, is there a venue for this? Indeed, there is: welcome to The Spear Trials, where the ultimate test of your abilities awaits!
This randomly generated dungeon presents formidable obstacles, particularly if your spear skills remain unrefined. You will need to lunge, jab, and stab your way through each room, all while keeping an eye out for hidden vases that may contain valuable saddle charms (as promised, I’m revisiting that topic).
And don’t even consider mining your way out of the dungeons; the path will not be straightforward.
So, prepare yourself mentally, grasp your trusty spear, and step into The Spear Trials!
