Nekopara Love Project Vol.1 Launches with Revamped Features
Good Smile Company and Neko Works have introduced a new version of the Nekopara game for iOS and Android, titled Nekopara Love Project Vol.1. The release includes updated character sprites, event CGs, voice lines, and story episodes, available in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
Sekai Project had previously announced a remaster of the Nekopara game series, with enhanced character sprites and full HD support. The first volume was initially set for a late 2024 release, followed by subsequent volumes in 2025.
Following a delay, Nekopara After – La Vraie Familie launched on Steam on June 30, originally planned as DLC for Nekopara Vol. 4 before becoming a standalone game. Neko Works and Good Smile Company are also working on Nekopara Sekai Connect for PC and smartphones, expected to debut in spring 2026.
In 2017, Sekai Project successfully crowdfunded an original video anime (OVA) based on the Nekopara franchise, which premiered on Steam later that year. The Kickstarter campaign also funded a 12-minute OVA for the prequel game as a stretch goal.
The Nekopara game series has inspired a television anime that aired in January 2020, with Funimation streaming the series in both English subtitles and dub. Stay tuned for more updates on the Nekopara universe.
